The playful pin-art bicycle storage wall proposed for the facade of a Downtown Miami bike-centric transit station records the presence of its users.
As bicycles are pushed into and pulled from the storage system, individual elements of the wall are displaced. The resulting surface continuously changes, translating ordinary acts of arrival, storage and departure into an evolving facade.
Rather than separating industrial design from architecture, the proposal treats the storage mechanism itself as building skin: infrastructure becomes ornament, use becomes motion, and occupation leaves a temporary imprint on the city.
