Material, application, color, collage and writing facilitate synthesizing ideas, enabling originality in my work. During the design process I do not solely rely in photorealistic rendering to evaluate a building’s appropriateness, scale and quality, and I avoid the utilization of collected imagery of existing buildings with the aim of mere reinterpretation.

Generative AI is a potent tool that I have experimented with, successfully complementing process and representation.

I am interested in exploiting the phenomenon of recent social media sharing of people engaged in interesting built environments. This awareness gives our vocation an influence previously untapped by society, and speaks of a new appreciation of people’s perception of -and relation to- the built environment.

We must foster working environments where humanist vision, academic approach and philosophy are not considered obscure references, nor dissolved into trend-driven marketing keywords, but part of the main language of our work.
