the public realm can expand into the vehicular space

Fold-a-Park(ing) is a portable module that could be placed in any parking lot and unfolded to form an interactive space. The assembly space’s interior is composed of recycled water bottles that passersby can plug into wholes in the module’s walls. Daylight coming through acquires an interesting character as it passes through the bottles.
